Very fond memories of Ani picking me up at the airport, the smell of New Orleans, sleeping at her house, working all night on my album, just having been signed to her label. used to take a break every now and again and venture over to a bar. I wasn't drinking but she'd have a cocktail and her ex would have a few and we'd recharge the batteries and get back to work. It was an old man's bar, with a small boxing ring in the back room...only in New Orleans. I was looking for something that was more of a soundscape type of thing, not necessarily lyric driven and we could just have fun creating sounds, maybe along the lines of The Beatles Tomorrow Never Knows or something by The Happy Mondays. God bless Ani, she never bats an eye, just dives in creatively and enjoys. Here ya go.....
