In the Grey Dawn episode of South Park , Season 7, episode 10, the elderly, who recently have been killing a lot of pedestrians  (and boaters even) with their horrible driving and have had their licenses taken away, take over the town with the help of the AARP. The adults are incarcerated and Randy assumes the elderly have the advantage cuz they're up so early. Since the kids are up early as well he gets the kids to lock the Country Kitchen Buffet ( read: Cracker Barrel) and the elderly, cut off from their food supply, left moaning in despair on the ground, relinquish control of South Park.

Let's say you have a Nazi in your family. Hypothetically. Which would be odd, particularly if you had Jewish blood. Nonetheless you do. Hypothetically. Of course they may not know they're a Nazi but it's become apparent, increasingly over the years, with statements they have made that they in fact do share certain ideologies with white supremacists. It's really better, I think, to miss Thanksgiving dinner then to try to explain to your Nazi family member why they are misguided in their politics. The stuffing was never particularly good, you like the trailer park canned cranberry sauce better anyway, and celebrating genocide isn't always an appetite enticement. Now, I'm not saying in this song that the customer demographic at the Cracker Barrel are all Nazis, and Lord knows I love me some Waffle House but, as things were amping up during those political divisive years, I was just daydreaming about a little clubhouse with some candles lit. Nadya Tolokonnikova from Pussy Riot is on a chair scouring window sills for bugging devices. Kathleen Hanna offers Greta Thunberg some dried fruit. Angela Davis passes out ski masks as Lisbeth Salander in a Sinead O'Connor T-shirt cleans the artillery. They've had it. To paraphrase Dee Snyder of Twisted Sister who wore more makeup than all these gals combined, 'These twisted sisters are not gonna take it!' It was a fun mental image so I wrote a song. Ruth Theodore sang it at 1:00am in my apartment. She didn't know it was gonna happen. Me neither. We were watching a movie, The Florida Project if I remember, and when it was done I said, 'You wanna help me with something?' And BINGO, 15 minutes later we had the tune. The headphone cord was crazy short. Ruth barked 'I can't work under these conditions!' We both laughed. These are the parameters that artists on a limited budget ALWAYS work within. She did a great job. All these assholes with their rifles and cammo at the McDonald's, the ladies say it's fucking over. 'And we're coming for you!'
